I have flown drones since 2012 and got my FAA issued Part 107/Commercial Operator’s license in 2017 and passed my renewal exam in 2019. I have flown several different varieties of drones and currently fly the DJI Mavic 3 and the Mavic Air 2.
While I often fly just for fun, I regularly fly to shoot photos and video for newspaper, magazine, television, engineering and local government uses. I operate safely and strictly abide by the applicable rules and laws governing drone use, including applying for and receiving airspace and operational waivers when needed.
My drone projects have included everything from skylines and scenery to group photos and fireworks.
