Not long ago, I stumbled onto the largest display of my photography that’s ever occurred, or is ever likely to occur.
Last fall, I did a shoot for Allen County’s Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. The project, which I did as part of my day job in Allen Superior Court, was meant to help CASA illustrate the work they do representing the needs of kids involved in court proceedings.
I got to work with CASA employees and volunteers, as well as some of their families to assemble a collection of imagery that’s now been used for an online video, a video ad shown before movies in local theaters and to hang around the CASA offices in downtown Fort Wayne.
Recently, I got to see the artwork in their offices. It was, without a doubt, the largest display of my photos that’s ever occurred. It was the first time I’d seen so much of my work on one place. I was really moved to see my work used to tell the story of such an amazing organization.
They were nice enough to let me take a few pictures – and to take my picture with some of the work we’d done together.
